Rory Buchanan (pseudonym) is an academic researcher and writer who has held chairs in the fields of childhood studies and wellbeing in the USA and UK and various visiting international positions, including in Brazil and Sweden. Much of his published work examines relationships between wellbeing, mental health, culture and migration. Rory lived in Lewes for some years and is currently a lecturer in higher education in Sussex.
